MUSIC
and
PHOTOGRAPHY
are my two loves in life. They affect us in such different ways…
Music is an art form that requires you to travel forward in time, experiencing each second, each minute of the song as it progresses. Music grabs hold of your body, and soul, and causes you to invest a part of yourself that you’ll never get back – time. Perhaps that’s one reason music is the universal language among all humans.
Photography freezes time. As Marc Riboud said, it is “savoring life intensely, every hundredth of a second”. A photograph captures a sliver of time when your emotions were peaked – and helps take you there again in an instant.
Aside from being a photographer, I am a musician. When the time comes to combine music and photography – this is my bliss. The human condition fascinates me – and never more than when it’s a musician.
I offer live concert photography and publicity / press kit photos that can be done both in the studio and on location.
