Naked, yet more clothed than you or I are on a frigid winter day… Who is she? It could be anyone.

Your ex girlfriend.

The girl you were lusting after in the cereal isle at the grocery store.

Your math professor.

Your sister.

You cannot see her eyes, nor the curvature of her lips. Here she stands naked for you, but why?    Is she looking at with you with longing eyes? Does the mask cover tears of heartbreak?

She stands here naked for you, giving you everything…. and yet she gives you nothing.

You are alone, on a deserted island of your own emotions, left to react to her how you may.

This is a one way street that only you traverse.

This is a shot that I took as we were getting ready to leave.  This was not planned, but was completely serendipitous, as if mother nature and the Gods knew the whole of what I wanted to express that evening.  Again, I cannot thank Abi and Omeid enough for perfectly expressing my vision.  More to come soon….

This is the Patron Saint of awesome weather, blessing our shoot.

I’m happy to announce that I’ve finally completed shooting on a project that I’ve been very anxious to do for some time.  The final release of the image will be a surprise – I don’t want to give away too many details, but I will say that it’s a piece of work that holds tremendous meaning for me, personally.  I think that a lot of people will be able to identify with it, as well.   I was lucky to work with 2 very talented people, model Omeid Tizpa and makeup artist Abigail Steele.

Here are a few images from behind the scenes of the shoot that will come to be known as “The Uttermost Farthing”.

“Are they oblivious

To this quality?

A quality

Of light unique to

Every city`s streets.

Pavements may teem with intense energy,
But the city is calm in this violent sea”

- Rush, “The Camera Eye”
