Q: Why do 4x5's and 5x7's cost the same amount?
A: They cost the same amount to make.
Q: Why are photographs so expensive? I know that the materials don't cost very much.
A: Good question. You are paying for the artistry that goes into creating fine portraiture such as this. It is true. Photographic paper is very inexpensive. I'm not selling paper; I'm selling art.
Q: Can I scan the photographs?
A: NO. Not as an honest person, anyway.
Q: What if I am not happy with the portraits?
A: It is very important to me that you love your portraits. I stand behind my work. I'll be happy to re-shoot if you are not entirely satisfied.
Q: How long do you keep images on file? Can I come back next year and buy more photos from my session?
A: I keep them for as long as the CD's they are archived on will stay good. Unfortuately, typical CD-R media is known to deteriorate quite quickly. I've seen them last as little as 12 months, even with proper storage conditons. If you are concerned about having long term access to the images, I suggest purchasing the origional files on CD. When I sell images, I use a special, high grade, archival quality CD that has a shelf life of 100+ years. You can be assured of having a lifetime of access to your images this way.
